MARIA BARTON

Berlin-based photographer and director Maria Barton is from Gijón, a small city in the north of Spain where, according to the local newspaper, there are more dogs than people under 25. 

With little to do there, so she started skating and shooting skateboarding more than 15 years ago. Some years later, she translated her personal and authentic style into fashion. 

Maria's work shows an intimate and honest relationship between the subject and the viewer.
